Red Sea bream (Pagrus auratus) Insulin-like Growth Factor-I (rbrIGF-I) is a 67 amino acid polypeptide. Recombinant red sea bream (Pagrus auratus) IGF is identical to [Gly1] gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata) IGF-I and [Gly1] black bream (Acanthopagrus butcheri) IGF-I, as glycine replaces the serine at position 1 in these IGFs.
